Kenya's sporting fraternity has been plunged into mourning following the death of veteran Harambee Stars and AFC Leopards fan, Isaac Juma.
Sports Brief understands Juma died after he was hacked to death in a night attack by unknown assailants on Wednesday, January 26, in Mumias, Kakamega County.
According to authorities, a preliminary probe had established the attack was instigated by a land dispute.
Juma was a passionate and ardent football fan who religiously supported Harambee Stars and Ingwe.
He often made headlines during matches with his unique hairstyle, his body that he painted in national colours, and a trunk.
The 56-year-old was also a newspaper vendor in Nakuru.
“We have a suspect over the murder to know more,” Western Regional police boss Peris Muthoni said.
A number of entities and Kenyans alike have since taken to social media to pay tribute to the father of 10.
AFC Leopards tweeted:

Harambee Stars posted:
