Thomas Tuchel has taken a swipe at Romelu Lukaku over the forward's performance in Chelsea's defeat to Man City on Saturday, January 15.
The Blues were unable to keep City at bay at the Etihad Stadium as Pep Guardiola's men secured a 1-0 crucial win to stretch their lead at the top to 13 points.
Kevin de Bruyne was the match hero for the English champions as his second-half stunner secured the crucial win for the Citizens.
Chelsea were completely dominated against by City as they were able to register just one shot on target during the encounter.
Lukaku, who started up front for the west Londoners cut an isolated figure for the better part of the match as he struggled to link up with Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic.
While taking stock of the tie, Tuchel slammed his side's attacking display as he singled out Lukaku for losing balls "in very promising circumstances."
"Sometimes he needs to do the service. I think he’s included," Tuchel said when asked if Lukaku was getting the service he needs.
"He had many ball losses without any pressure, many ball losses in very promising circumstances. He had a huge chance – so he’s included in this," he added.
Despite the defeat, Chelsea remain second on the log with 43 points, only one ahead of third-placed Liverpool who have two matches in hand.
