Sadio Mane netted in Al-Nassr's King's Cup semi-final game against Al-Khaleej, after Cristiano Ronaldo gave up his penalty attempt to the Senegalese winger.

The former Liverpool superstar scored a brace in his team's last game and has now scored in all four games of the Saudi competition for the Knights of Najd.

Mane scores against Al-Khaleej

Al-Nassr took the lead in the game through Ronaldo's volley in the 17th minute and the Portuguese veteran could have added another after a penalty was awarded in the 35th minute.

However, the former Real Madrid star decided to selflessly give up his penalty duties to Mane, who fired past Ibrahim Sehic to give the Riyadh-based side a two-goal lead in the first half.

The game ended in a 3-1 win for Al-Nassr, with Ronaldo completing his brace in the 57th minute and Fawaz Al-Torais scoring the away side's only goal in the 82nd minute.

With the win, the Knights of Najd set up a final date with their familar foes and rivals, Al-Hilal, in the final on May 31.

Mane nets brace in Ronaldo's absence

Sports Brief also previously reported that Mane starred in Ronaldo's absence as Al-Nassr strolled to a 3-1 Saudi Pro League win over Al-Fayha.

A double from the Senegalese international and a bullet-like header from Abdulelah Al-Amri rendered Fashion Saka's early strike a consolation.

Having crashed out of the Saudi Super Cup against Al-Hilal and losing Ronaldo to a red-card suspension, the home side were under pressure.
