The blame game has already begun for Bayern Munich.

The Bavarian giants wasted an excellent opportunity to head into the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium with an aggregate lead, surrendering two goals against Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Manager Thomas Tuchel surprisingly blamed one of his players for his side's failure to win at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night.

Tuchel blames Kim after disappointing draw

The German boss took aim at South Korean defender Kim Min-Jae for his poor performance against Real Madrid.

He described Kim as too greedy in both of the goals Bayern conceded.

Tuchel explained that Kim "speculated and was too aggressive" for the first goal, making the first move too early against Vinicius Junior and got caught by Toni Kroos' pass in the process.

He pointed the finger at Kim again for the second goal, saying "unfortunately it was another mistake."

He explained that they had the numbers (5 against 2) when Real Madrid were attacking prior to the penalty.

He questioned Kim's decision-making, saying "there was no need to defend that aggressively against Rodrygo." Tuchel pointed out that Eric [Dier] was about to help Kim but the latter then brought Rodrygo down.

He added that "these mistakes get punished" but it happens and they have to move on.

It would be interesting to see what effect Tuchel's criticisms will have on Kim ahead of Bayern Munich's second-leg clash with Real Madrid next week.

Kim has been one of Bayern's key players this season, making 31 combined appearances in the German Bundesliga and the Champions League this season, per TransferMarkt.

Comparing Bellingham and Musiala's UCL performances

Sports Brief compared Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala following Bayern's draw with Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Musiala dazzled against Real, drawing a crucial foul that led to a spot kick for Bayern Munich.

Bellingham, on the other hand, struggled to make an impact for Los Blancos.
