Following his father's untimely passing, he was raised by his mother, Sarah Moses, alongside his four older sisters. Their encouragement and support nurtured Musa's journey to football stardom.

Musa celebrated his sisters as pillars of strength and love in his life. He stressed their importance as siblings, extraordinary women, and mothers who have always stood by him through thick and thin.

“The only boy with my incredible sisters. They are not just sisters to me; they're the epitome of strength, grace, and love. Each one a phenomenal woman, wonderful mother, and they always have my back. Grateful for the bond we share that transcends time and distance. Here's to the beautiful journey of family forever,” he said, in a heartfelt Facebook post.

Musa partners with Azman University

Beyond his family, the Super Eagles captain's commitment to education shines through his philanthropic endeavours. Through the Ahmed Musa Foundation, he recently partnered with Azman University to expand access to tertiary education through scholarships.

The initiative builds upon his previous efforts, including establishing the M&S International School in 2022, named in honour of his late parents, Tribune reports.

During a meeting with university delegates on April 19, Musa reaffirmed his belief in the transformative power of education. He stressed that every child, regardless of background, deserves the opportunity to receive a quality education, underscoring his dedication to making this a reality.
