Touching Moment As Benjamin Pavard Pays Tribute to Takeoff With His Celebration vs Inter Milan

Benjamin Pavard paid a touching tribute to the late American rap star Takeoff, after scoring in Bayern Munich's 2-0 win over Inter Milan on Tuesday.

Takeoff, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball, was fatally shot in Houston, Texas in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The 28-year-old rapper was a member of the music group Migos, which also includes Quavo and Offset.

The trio helped promote the 'dab' dance move following the release of their hit track 'Look At My Dab' seven years ago.

Bayern hosted Inter at the dreaded Allianz Arena on matchday 6 of the UEFA Champions League Group E, having already qualified for the knockout stage as group winners.

Frenchman Pavard scored the first goal in the 32nd minute after nodding home a Joshua Kimmich's corner.

The 26-year-old celebrated his goal by hitting a knee slide in the corner, before slowly dabbing as his teammates ran over to celebrate.

It turned out versatile defender was paying a very special tribute to the late Takeoff, who was shot dead earlier in the day.

It was a touch of class from the World Cup winner, who netted his second goal in the Champions League after scoring against Barcelona last week at Camp Nou.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting added the second goal in the second half as the Bavarians recorded a 2-0 victory.

Choupo-Moting scores a worldie

Sports Brief earlier reported that Cameroon forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored a stunner for Bayern Munich in their UEFA Champions League matchday six clash with Inter Milan on Tuesday.

The 33-year-old, who has been in great form in recent weeks, scored a wonderful goal in the second half to hand the Bavarians a 2-0 win over the Italian outfit in Munich.

With 18 minutes remaining, Choupo-Moting received the ball around 25 yards from goal and turned to face the opposition defence.
