This prestigious football club began winning major trophies in the Spanish League at the beginning of the 21/22 season. Thanks to Luka Modric, the Los Blancos team grabbed their first trophy of the season in the 2022 UEFA final match against Athletic Bilbao.

Real Madrid's current president, Florentino Pérez Rodríguez, acknowledged the club's winning tradition in an interview with Real Madrid TV. While encouraging his talented players, he said:

We always want to win everything. We were taught that from an early age... I'm really happy to have won the first trophy of the season". What we've done so far is going well.
