WWE in Mourning as Former Wrestling Superstar Dies Aged 46

Curtains have fallen on former WWE superstar, Ryan Sakoda.

Sakoda was one of the most loved wrestlers during his days with the WWE and was a key part of the Ruthless Aggression era in the early 2000s.

SunSport citing Frightful.com reports the cause of Sakoda's death is yet to be established.

According to the publication, the former SmackDown star was working for Disney at their Grand California Hotel before his unfortunate death.

The 46-year-old signed for WWE as a young prospect in 2003 before the American entertainment company handed him a contract.

He later formed a tag group with Kyo Dai and wrestled a number of household names including The Dudley Boyz, Rikishi and the FBI.

Upon his release in 2004, Sakoda went on to be part of MTV's Wrestling Society X series.

His death has since prompted countless tributes, with ex-star Chris Masters among those who have mourned him.

"This one really hits hard," Chris said.
"Shocked to find out Ryan Sakoda passed away on Sep 2nd. How are we just finding this out now?" He posed.

WWE superstar welcomes first child

Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported WWE superstar Ronda Rousey is officially a mother.

The wrestler announced the arrival of her daughter via a social media post on Monday, September 27.

The former Mixed Martial Arts fighter shared a photo of the newborn hand resting on her chest and revealed her unique name.

"La'akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne," she wrote.

Ronda's husband, Travis Browne, also shared a photo of the newborn's hand on his chest and captioned it:

"Welcome to this world La'akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne. You are so incredibly loved!"
