  • Vodacom Bulls winger Sbu Nkosi is still missing after reportedly going AWOL
  • There were whispers that the Springboks flyer had been spotted in Mpumalanga
  • However, the Bulls crushed this hope and said their player is yet to be heard from

Sbu Nkosi is still missing.

This was in contradiction of a media report early on Monday, reporting that the Vodacom Bulls winger had been spotted in eMalahleni, Mpumalanga.

The union has since come out and said that this turn of events was false.

“We have not located the player and have not issued any updates in relation to this. We continue to receive tip-offs and information from the public, and all these are being shared with the police as well as other relevant stakeholders. We continue to appeal to the wider public to share any information they have that may help with the case.”

Nkosi goes missing, causes worry

Vodacom Bulls wing Sbu Nkosi is missing, with the Springbok speedster not seen or heard from for over two weeks.

Sports Brief reported that Nkosi was recently sent home from the Bok's current tour for a yet-to-be-revealed disciplinary matter.

Bulls director of rugby Jake White refused to answer questions about the player during the team announcement press conference with the media, but said a statement would be issued soon, as per SA Rugby Magazine.

Elton Jantjies in bizarre furore

Troubled Springbok fly-half Elton Jantjies's 2022 has reached a new level of bizarre, following salacious details which emerged in the City Press' special report early on Sunday.

It has been reported that Jantjies lodged a complaint with the Rugby Football Union and World Rugby against his agent, James Adams. Why, you may ask? Because Jantjies alleged that Adams sent gang members to his home to collect money that he (Janjtjies) owed him (Adams).

The article held that Adams is suing Jantjjies for a breach of contract about the latter's failure to pay his commission last month.
