Christiaan Bezuidenhout is hoping to emulate fellow South Africans and don the much sought after green jacket when he competes in next year's Masters tournament.
The 27-year-old will compete at Augusta in the United States of America in April next year in what will be his third Masters appearance.
Bezuidenhout took to his Instagram to make the announcement that he was invited to competed in the prized golfing tournament.
This year Bezuidenhout competed in all four Majors and represented South Africa at the Tokyo Olympics, Sport24 reported. He also played in 25 tournaments this year and only missed the cut just once.

Bezuidenhout will be hoping to join the ranks of the three South Africans who have already had the honour of being called Masters winners. Gary Player donned the green jacket three times while Trevor Immelman and Charl Schwartzel also brought home bragging rights.
Thus far only six South Africans have qualified to compete in the upcoming tournament.
South Africans took to Twitter as well to congratulate Bezuidenhout on his achievement.
