A difficult season

Brady's return to the sport didn't go as planned. His Tampa Bay Buccaneers side finished the regular season with eight wins and nine, and managed to win the NFC South division and enter the playoffs, ESPN reported.

They were beaten by the Dallas Cowboys during Super Wild Card Weekend, ending Brady's hopes of another Super Bowl appearance.

Brady also went through a very public divorce last year.

Brady's legendary career

The quarterback is undoubtedly the most accomplished NFL player of all time. Brady played for 23 years in the league and holds a host of records.

Brady is the all-time leader in the NFL when it comes to passing yards (89 214) and touchdown passes (649) in the regular season, SportsKeeda reported.

He also has the most pass attempts (12 050) and passes completed (7 753). At 251, Brady also has the most wins of any player to have ever played in the league.
