Phoenix Suns veteran Chris Paul has revealed her daughter gets bullied in school because he hasn't won an NBA championship.

Paul has played 18 seasons in the NBA, and although he's had a hugely successful career, his lack of championship success continues to haunt him.

The veteran point guard led the Suns to the 2021 NBA Finals but fell short, losing to the Milwaukee Bucks in six games. In the next two seasons that followed, Paul and the Suns were eliminated from the playoffs in embarrassing fashion, per USA Today.

Paul is always ranked as one of the best point guards of all time, but the lack of an NBA title puts a dent in an otherwise Hall of Fame career.

Paul on lack of NBA title

Speaking on "The Pivot," podcast the 38-year-old revealed it is unfortunate he hasn't won an NBA title, but people around him bear the brunt.

He shared how her daughter was taunted at school because his father hadn't won an NBA title.

"My daughter is the sweetest soul you'll ever meet in your life, but she's at that age now where at school, kids talk crazy to her," Paul said. "She had a little boy, whatever, at school that said some reckless stuff to her that was like 'Your daddy ain't never gonna win no championship!' And my baby is so, she's special. She'll hold it together there, but when she got in the car she called and she was upset," via CBS Sports.

Paul was the No. 4-overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft. He has put up a phenomenal career that many NBA players would love to have. He has 12 All-Star nominations, 11 nominations to the All-NBA team, five-time NBA assist leader, six-time NBA steals leader, and a place on the league's 75th Anniversary Team.

Chris Paul wants an NBA title

Sports Brief earlier reported on Chris Paul saying no one wants to win the NBA championship more than him.

The veteran recently became the only player in NBA history to record at least 20,000 career points and 11,000 assists.

He already has 11 NBA All-Star selections, 10 All-NBA team appearances, and nine NBA All-Defensive team honors. A title would cement a Hall of Fame career.
