The 34-year-old scored 22 of his 36 points were scored in the fourth quarter and overtime. He scored 11 points in the final two minutes of regulation. The two-time MVP, however, produced his biggest moment late in the fourth quarter.

With 2.2 seconds remaining and the score tied, Jrue Holiday drove to the basket, hoping to seal the win for the visitors. Curry met him at the top and blocked the shot.

The reigning NBA champions had a 13-point lead early in the third quarter but trailed by eight with two minutes to go in the fourth. Curry didn't play for much of this stretch.

What Curry said

It was a much-needed win for the Warriors, who had lost their last three games. They now have one of the best records at home this season. Curry was delighted with his game-saving block.

"When you [make] a couple of big shots down the stretch and then find yourself in a position to make a play on the other side, I think that gives everybody a good boost," Curry said. "I think I got more compliments on that in the locker room than any shot I made tonight," via ESPN.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr showered Curry with praise after the game.

"Steph was incredible, and he did it against one of the great defenders in Jrue Holiday. It's amazing watching those two guys battle. Steph is fearless. It doesn't matter if there is a slow start or if he hasn't had much going, he can ignite at any time."

The win saw the Warriors move into the No. 6 seed in the West with a 3b5-33 record. Nevertheless, they're still dangerously close to the play-in places, per CBS Sports.

Overall it was a team effort. Donte DiVincenzo finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds, and Draymond Green had five points, 13 rebounds, and nine assists. Klay Thompson scored 22 points.

Jamychal Green and Jordan Poole added 18 and 13 points, respectively, from the bench.

Milwaukee Bucks were without MVP candidate Giannis antetokounmpo.

Curry warns NBA teams

Sports Brief earlier reported on Curry sending a warning to NBA teams about the Warriors, saying they are a tough match-up for any team when they're healthy.

The Warriors won their fourth NBA title in eight years last season, beating the Celtics in six games, with Curry winning the Finals MVP.

The Warriors haven't lost many series when they're all healthy. They lost during the early years of the dynasty but, since winning the title in 2015, are undefeated.
