Miami Heat big man Bam Adebayo has compared Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo to NBA greats Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James.

The Bucks forward has been considered one of the best NBA players in the last few years. He won the MVP award in 2019 and 2020, then led his team to championship glory in 2021.

The 28-year-old has demonstrated why he is the dominant player this season. He's averaging 31.3 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 5.4 assists this season, which is fourth-best in the NBA.

The Bucks are now top of the Eastern Conference with a 43-17 record and are on track to challenge for the NBA title this season. His heroic performances couldn't lift them past the Boston Celtics in the East semi-finals.

Adebayo praises Antetokounmpo

In a recent interview with Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks, he was asked who could become the next LeBron James of the NBA. His answer was interesting.

“It looks very unreal," Adebayo said. "And I feel like that’s the thing that put Jordan over the top. That’s what put Kobe in that and Bron. It’s like they had this special gift they only had. The fact that he can two-step through four people and dunk the basketball, it’s, like, boring now, but it’s, like, really different,” via SI.

The "Greek Freak" is among the most dominant players in the history of the NBA. He has shown several times why he is similar to Jordan, James, and Bryant.

He has won just one title so far and will probably need to win a few more to cement his status among the greats. He recently made his t7th All-Star appearance.

He has been named to the All-NBA First Team four times and won Defensive Player of the Year in 2020.

Tatum on Antetokounmpo

Sports Brief earlier reported on Jayson Tatum calling Antetokoumpo the best player in the NBA.

The Boston Celtics star has faced Antetokounmpo several times in the playoffs in the last few seasons, which is high praise from one of his biggest competitors.

"If I had to pick, I think I might say [Antetokounmpo]. The way he impacts both sides; scoring, rebounding, how hard he plays. We all have off nights, but when he has an off night it’s still 25 and 15 instead of 40 and 20. And, he's won. He's won a championship."
