Breaking Bad Stars Grace NBA Game, Receive Standing Ovation From Fans

Walter 'Heisenberg' White and Jesse Pinkman are not only elite meth dealers, they also seem to love the game of basketball. The actors for the characters, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul were courtside in a recent NBA game - and fans loved it.

The two starred in the television series Breaking Bad, which is considered one of the best shows of this century.

The two actors have built a solid off-screen relationship after the show ended in 2013. They've been working together again recently on their spirits line, Dos Hombres Mezcal.

Bronze statues of characters White and Pinkman were unveiled at the Albuquerque Convention Center in July 2022, a testament to their cultural impact in the city and beyond, per the Guardian.

However, the statues received widespread condemnation, with some saying celebrating fictional drug dealers who committed murders was odd.

The show ran from 2008 to 2013, chronicling how a terminal cancer-diagnosed chemistry teacher becomes a drug lord with the help of an ex-student, to help secure his family's future.

Breaking Bad stars at NBA game

Cranston, 66, and Paul, 43, were courtside together at a recent Houston Rockets game. They received an ovation from the crowd, before giving the fans a cheerful wave.

Paul wore a multi-patterned button-up paired with a white T-shirt, while Cranston opted for a casual look with a white button-up and jacket, per Hollywood Life.

Clutch, the Rockets mascot, walked up to the 66-year-old in nothing but his underwear, and Cranston was startled. Both chuckled, prompting fans to join in the merriment.

LeBron gifts jersey to rapper

Sports Brief earlier reported on LeBron James signing and gifting his game-worn jersey to rapper 2 Chainz on the basketballer's 38th birthday.

After the buzzer rang, the NBA star took off his No. 6 shirt, autographed it and gave it to the rapper who was sitting courtside. The two shared a lovely embrace afterward.

James' dropped 47-10-9 against the Atlanta Hawks on the night, as the superstar celebrated another year of life in front of his family.
