NBA icon Shaquille O'Neal was forced to eat frogs after he lost a bet to Inside the NBA host Ernie Johnson on television.

Before Monday's College Football Playoff National Championship game, the four-time NBA champion bet Johnson that Johnson's alma mater, the Georgia Bulldogs, would not beat the Texas Christian University's Horned Frogs (TCU).

However, the former NBA superstar's emphatically lost his bet as the Horned Frogs were comprehensively beaten 65-7, as Georgia won its second consecutive College Football Playoff championship.

Johnson attended Georgia while Shaq is a former LSU basketball star. Johnson thought the Bulldogs will win the title game by more than 31 points, but then predicted a final score of 45–17 in favor of Georgia, which is 28 points, per SI.

Shaq eats frogs

According to CBS News, Johnson came into Thursday's TNT coverage wearing a Bulldogs helmet and a covered silver platter. Underneath the covered plate were some frog legs which O'Neal was ready to enjoy.

Although Shaq looked like he was enjoying his frogs legs panelist Kenny Smith did not like it.

"I just wanna let y'all know, these frog legs good. These are the best frog legs I've done had ever. You didn't think I was gonna do it, did you?"

The show's crew is popular for their entertaining style most of the time leaving the fans in stitches.

Shaq on his dominance

Sports Brief earlier reported on Shaq declaring that he is the most dominant NBA player of all time in NBA history.

On the latest episode of ‘The Big podcast’, the big man revealed that he is not on the level of the Jordan's. James's, Abdul-Jabbar's and Bryant's in NBA all-time ranking.

He said he should also be ranked number one in the most dominant list, meaning in any list that he isn't number one, no one should say his name in a candid conversation with Jamal Crawford.
