AC Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimovic was courtside during an entertaining encounter between the Brooklyn Nets and the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA.

The Nets blew out the 2021 NBA champions 118-100 to extend their winning streak to eight games.

The win saw the Nets improve to 21-12 and sit fourth in the Eastern Conference but are still behind the Bucks who are second with a 22-10 record.

The Nets started the season poorly, going 2-6 in a drama-filled season which saw Kyrie suspended and Steve Nash leave his role as coach.

They are now just 1.5 games behind first-placed Boston Celtics in the East in a remarkable turnaround.

Kyrie chats with Ibrahimovic

Ibrahimovic was seated courtside during the griping Nets vs Bucks game and later caught up with Kyrie after the end of the game.

Kyrie appeared to give Zlatan his game-won jersey as they had a quick chat with many fans watching on.

Zlatan played for two years at LA Galaxy before leaving in 2019 after scoring 52 goals in 56 appearances, per the Guardian. He returned to Milan helping them win their first Serie A title in 11 years.

The 41-year-old sustained a career-threatening injury in May and was ruled out for eight months in May after successful surgery on his left knee, per Sky Sports.

Kyrie controversies

Sports Brief earlier reported on Kyrie Irving's 'scandals' since he joined the NBA after he was drafted first overall in 2011.

Kyrie is no stranger to controversy. this season he was suspended for sharing a movie that reportedly had antisemitic connotations.

Last year he was suspended from playing home games for refusing to take the Cocid-19 vaccine. In 2017 he claimed that the earth was flat.
