LeBron James hasn't played for five games, and fans have wondered where the iconic forward has been.
When a photo surfaced online, the NBA Twitter community believed he was playing for Cameroon at the World Cup. Surprisingly, fans had instead spotted Brentford and Indomitable Lions forward Bryan Mbeumo, who fans believe is James' doppelganger.
Cameroon started the tournament with a 1-0 defeat to Switzerland, and Mbeumo could not inspire his country to victory.
Meanwhile, James has been out of NBA action for the LA Lakers for the last five games with a groin injury. The Lakers' season started disastrously, and they currently sit at 5-11 for the season.

LeBron's reaction to doppleganger photo
A photo of Mbeumo went viral on Twitter, with the footballer looking 'eerily like King James'. The post was liked 220 000 times, and James himself posted it on his Instagram story.
James even re-shared the images and added a few laughing emojis, according to the Mirror:
“I mean I got work to do in other places too!”
Lakers play San Antonio Spurs in their next game, and it remains to be seen if the king will be available to play. James is averaging 24.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 6.9 assists, according to Clutchpoints.
James is on pace to become the player with the most points in the history of the NBA. He has won four NBA titles, and the Lakers will have to step up if they want the fifth one this season.
James shows off new watch
Sports Brief earlier reported on James flexing his $110,000 watch and claims he gave it the name 'Papa Smurf' due to its colour.
The 37-year-old is known as an avid watch collector, having acquired expensive timepieces from several brands.
According to the Mirror, the NBA star and serial watch collector showed off his latest acquisition, the legendary Audemars Piguet 41mm Perpetual Calendar Royal Oak. The watch is kept safe in a blueberry-blue ceramic case.
