  • Brazilian native Deiveson Figueiredo will take on Mexico's Brandon Moreno for the fourth time in the UFC.
  • Glover Teixeira will battle Jamahal Hill for the vacant Light Heavyweight title in his homeland of Brazil.
  • UFC fighters showed off their somewhat fancy skills with a football as they continued preparations for UFC 283.

Many UFC fighters are known for having fancy footwork in the Octagon.

But how does that footwork translate to their football skills?

With the organization heading to Brazil for the first pay-per-view of the year, UFC 283, a few fighters were put to the test when it comes to their football skills.

The Brazilian fighters didn't exactly cover themselves in glory, though. MMA legend Shogun Rua ended up falling over as he tried to control the ball, while Deiveson Figueiredo held onto the nearby banner as he attempted to keep his balance.

Figueiredo will be hoping for better coordination at UFC 283 as he takes on Moreno for the Undisputed Flyweight title.

Both men are no strangers to each other and have already met on three previous occasions.

Moreno and Figueiredo both have a victory over the other, while the third bout ended in a draw, the UFC confirmed.

They will be hoping that the fourth bout settles once and for all who the true Flyweight champion is.

Gane invites Mbappe to fight

Ciryl Gane is gearing up for the chance to fight for the UFC Heavyweight title once again.

The Frenchman will meet a returning Jon Jones at UFC 285 in March for the vacant title.

The title was vacated after the UFC stripped Francis Ngannou of the belt and released him from the organization, Sports Brief earlier reported.

Teixeira fights Hill for title

The UFC will look to crown a new light heavyweight champion when action resumes next year.

Jan Blachowicz and Magomed Ankalaev fought for the vacant strap in the main event of UFC 282, but the fight was declared a split draw by judges, Sports Brief reported.

The organisation will head to Brazil for UFC 283 and its where former champion, Glover Teixeira, and Jamahal Hill will fight for the title.
