"I feel bad for Dana. His wife slapped him. That is rude. And it deserves a slapping back. I don't know. I don't know. It's a tricky one. Treat people how you want to be treated," he said at first.

O'Malley also added that alcohol played a huge part in the incident and that if White was sober, he would have never retaliated if his wife slapped him.

He then further joked that Anne needed to work on her form.

"She hit him first. It was a nice counter, she should have kept her hands up, you know what I mean? A little head movement. If you're going to slap, you got to be ready to slap. You got to continue with that combo. She should have hit him with a 1-2, not just a 2, pulled, slipped," he said.

He then added that it wasn't right.

"But no, it's not right. They're going to lose a lot of business."

Former fighter arrested for murder

The mixed martial arts world has been plunged into the headlines again, for all the wrong reasons.

Following video footage surfacing of UFC president Dana White slapping his wife on New Year's Eve, the organization and the sport have been thrust into the spotlight.

The arrest of former UFC fighter, Phil Baroni has only made matters worse, Sports Brief reported.
