Jose Mourinho who is the handler of Premier League side Tottenham has taken a dig at one of his players Dele Alli after the heartbreaking home defeat against Chelsea on Thursday night, February 4.

Tottenham went into this game with the hopes of getting the maximum three points so as to help their position on the Premier League table, but Spurs suffered a defeat.

Jorginho's 24th-minute penalty was all the Stamford Bridge landlords needed for them to get the three points against Tottenham who were without star striker Harry Kane.

The England international is currently injured and Tottenham have been struggling in front of goals since he was ruled out.

Chelsea new coach, Thomas Tuchel started his coaching career with the Blues with a draw against Wolves, but his wards defeated Burnley in their second game before beating Spurs.

According to the report on Mirror, Jose Mourinho stated clearly that Dele Alli has not been performing well for the side this season.

"Sergio Reguilon means something for our attacking football. Harry Kane means something to our attacking football.
"Giovani Lo Celso means something and a good Dele Alli that we haven't had yet also means something to that.
"It also is about not having the players to change things. It's also about the confidence."

Meanwhile, Tottenham are currently occupying 8th position on the Premier League table and Jose Mourinho and his men will be facing West Brom in their next game on Sunday, February 7.

Earlier, had reported how Premier League club Tottenham approached PSG star Angel Di Maria over possible switch as soon as his contract lapses at the end of the season.

The Argentine winger has been instrumental for the Parisians under new boss Mauricio Pochettino since the tactician arrived.

However, his contract expires this summer and there are speculations over his future, though Poch would like to keep his countryman in France.

But reports from French outlet L’Equipe are claiming that Spurs are already making background moves for the 32-year-old for him to return to the Premier League.
