Tottenham Star in Tears After Suffering Injury Just 3 Minutes Into Southampton Game

Tottenham forward Richarlison’s season hit a new low as the Brazilian only lasted three minutes against Southampton on Saturday, March 18.

Since making the £60million from Everton in the summer, Richarlison has struggled as a Tottenham player, and is yet to find the net in the Premier League, despite all his talent.

The North Londoners were recently dumped out of the Champions League by AC Milan, and Richarlison went on record to slam Antonio Conte for the lack of playing time, saying it has been a poor season for him.

In response, Conte started Richarlison against Nottingham Forest last week in a game where the number 9 performed quite decently.

Fast forward to a tricky away trip to the relegation-threatened Saints and Richarlison was once again picked to start by the manager, but his latest outing only lasted three minutes.

Video of the aftermath of the latest injury has since gone viral on social media, and it shows Richarlison in tears as Harry Kane tries to console him.

Eventually, Richarlison went to the stands, and was spotted sitting with his teammates on the bench.

Spurs suffered another injury blow in the first half as Ivan Perisic had to come in for Ben Davies after 36 minutes.
