  • Emerson Royal and Lucas Moura mocked Richarlsion by using his World Cup celebration
  • The Tottenham Hotspur trio was playing a game of FIFA in a video circulated on the internet
  • The pigeon dance celebration was made famous by Brazil in the last 16 against South Korea

Richarlison might not be getting constant playing time under Antonio Conte, but he was on a roll for Brazil at the Qatar World Cup last year.

Donning jersey number 9 for a nation that is massively talented like the Selecao at a major tournament is no mean feat, but the forward took to it graciously and excelled at the task.

He scored the 'goal of the tournament' against Serbia and added two others in the group stage. Tite's side were unceremoniously knocked out in the quarter-finals, but the former Everton man certainly left his mark.

Richarlison's antics in Qatar

But his business wasn't just to score goals. He brought the classic Samba vibes to the Qatar travelling squad.

From ejecting Fred from Neymar's spot during a team photo session, to slapping Fabinho's bald head, the 25-year-old was always ready to create some fun moments.

That's why it was even more hilarious when his Brazil compatriots at Tottenham, Emerson Royal and Lucas Moura beat him at his own game. The pair were not part of Brazil's World Cup squad but borrowed a leaf from the striker's book.

Richarlison and the 'pigeon dance'

After scoring in the round of 16 against South Korea, Richarlison rushed to the touchline where Tite stood and together with the rest of the players, they did the pigeon dance which attracted a lot of controversy.

In a video posted online, the three players were playing a game of FIFA when Emerson scored against Richarlison. He then teamed up with Moura and they did the same pigeon dance around the room - and Richarlison was not happy.

Conte's side are currently revelling in their recent 1-0 win over the defending champions, Manchester City. Harry Kane's strike in the first half was enough to separate the two sides.

Richarlison's supports Lucas Moura

Sports Brief had earlier reported on Tottenham forward, Moura stepping up his recovery from injury by playing a match for the developmental squad.

This is a norm for Premier League stars to prove themselves fit before they are allowed to return to the first team mix.

His teammate and fellow Brazilian, Richarlison showed support in the stands and carried a placard just like a fan would.
