The Sun reports that Richarlison had in the past expressed his desire not to get any tattoo, but changed his mind after leading Brazil to Olympic gold last year.

Richarlison was the top scorer at the Tokyo Games and marked the fete by getting his name, the number 10, and the iconic medal inked on his left thigh.

His artist, Dom Tattoo has explained the thinking the former Everton striker puts into his tattoos.

Apart from the one on his left thigh, he has another one on his neck that is translated to say 'he is Brazilian'. He followed that up with a Brazilian flag which symbolises the love he has for his nation.

The 25-year-old has another set of tattoos featuring his favourite cartoon characters including Tom and Jerry. This tattoo is on his arm.

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Richarlison pulled off dance moves from Brazil coach Tite, after scoring in the Selacao's first-half mauling of South Korea.

The five-time world champions were rampant against the Asians in the round of 16 clash, with the Tottenham Hotspur forward netting his side's third.

Vinicius Jr opened the scoring with a clever goal before Neymar doubled the lead from the spot, with Richarlison finishing off a brilliant move before Lucas Paqueta made it four.
