Brazilian forward Richarlison de Andrade put in a superlative performance to inspire Tottenham Hotspur to victory in the London derby against Fulham on Saturday afternoon.

He provided an assist for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's opener and was deeply involved in the build-up to Harry Kane's match-winner to cap off a good outing.

But in the dying embers of the game, the former Everton forward was thrown into an emotional rollercoaster when he thought he had opened his goal-scoring account for Spurs.

But his joy was shortlived as a VAR review chopped off his goal, ruling it out as offside and his misery was compounded with a yellow card for taking his shirt off despite his goal being cancelled.

He would hope to get lucky and finally break his goal-scoring jinx when Tottenham Hotspur, who are currently sitting in the third position, play as guest to second-placed Manchester City on Saturday, September 10.
