The legendary Brazilian footballer Ronaldo Nazario was a noticeable presence at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium as Spurs edged Wolverhampton Wanderers to maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign.

In the lunchtime game, BT Sport, who were providing coverage managed to find Ronaldo with their cameras, and the former Inter Milan and Real Madrid striker was comfortably seated among the fans.

The first half of the game was not the best advertisement for Premier League football as Tottenham struggled to create chances, while Wolves, despite their attacking intent, failed to find the net.

Spurs’ best moment of the half came when Harry Kane’s looping header was expertly kept out by Jose Sa.

Eventually, Kane would give Ronaldo glimpses of the Brazilian’s past as a prolific goalscorer as he broke the deadlock from an Ivan Perisic corner.

“Brazilian Ronaldo. His ability, his all-round game was incredible. He had everything: pace, power, finishing, skills, passing.” Kane said in an interview with ESPN in 2018.

Football London has since revealed that Ronaldo was at the Tottenham Stadium as a guest for Nike.

As a player, Ronaldo represented some big clubs in Europe including both Real Madrid and Barcelona.
