Harry Kane and Dejan Kulusevski and Son Heung-Min got the goals as Spurs pipped Arsenal to the final Champions League spot.

Spurs deserved the victory on the run of play, creating more chances and dominating the game. Kane, Kulusevski and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg all looked extremely for the London-based side and the latter came close to opening the scoring in the eighth minute.

They got their goal just eight minutes later when Højbjerg provided Kulusevski with an easy tap-in for the game’s first goal. Norwich could have equalised not long after as Milot Rashica spurned a great chance.

Spurs doubled their lead on the half-hour mark as Kane capitalised on a Tim Krul error.

The keeper gave the ball away cheaply to Rodrigo Bentancur who fed Kane in the box and the striker headed in easily. Rashica had another chance before halftime to pull a goal back for the Canaries but his effort was well blocked.

Spurs went into the break with a comfortable lead. The second half started with both teams trading chances. Rashica set up Timo Pukki who headed wide and Kane had to watch Krul save his effort.

Kulusevski eventually made it three, minutes after he had an effort cleared off the line. The winger produced a beautifully curled effort to put the game beyond doubt. Son Heung-min added insult to injury when he scored Spurs’ fourth goal of the game and then the fifth a few minutes later.

Tottenham Hotspur chasing UEFA Champions League qualification against already relegated Norwich City outfit

Norwich City’s last game in England’s topflight will see them welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Carrow Road. The Canaries are bottom of the table and will be relegated at the end of the season, no matter what the other results are.

Norwich have not had the best form of late, losing five games in a row, but did manage a draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers in their last game, SportsMole confirmed. Tottenham on the other hand have not lost in their last five games, winning three and drawing two of them.

Norwich can finish in 19th place with a win while Tottenham needs just a draw or a win to secure fourth place in the league and claim the final Champions League qualification spot ahead of Arsenal, Sports Brief earlier reported.
