Arsenal and Spurs are currently neck-to-neck in the top four race, with just four points separating them.

While the Gunners are placed fourth on the standings with 66 points, Tottenham are in fifth with 62 points.

Mikel Arteta's men took significant advantage over their arch-rivals this weekend when they recorded a 2-1 vital win over Leeds United.

On their part, Tottenham dropped points against quadruple-chasing Liverpool after they drew 1-1 in their own outing.

Gary Neville backs Tottenham to see off Arsenal

And with just three matches left to end the season, Neville is backing Tottenham to silence Arsenal during the upcoming North London derby even as the top four battle hots up.

Speaking on the Gary Neville Podcast, the former England international suggested Spurs' spirited performance against Liverpool could give them the fighting spirit to see off the Gunners.

“I think it will be a really tasty game on Thursday night, not just because of the fact it’s a North London derby and they’re playing for Champions League places. But the way in which this game was called off earlier in the year – even I wasn’t too happy with that," Mirror UK quoted Neville saying.
“It’s a big game, I’m looking forward to it. I fancy Tottenham on Thursday night. I thought they were brilliant at Anfield, I thought it was a really good performance because Liverpool are one of the very, very best," he added.

Arsenal keen to sign Man City ace

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Arsenal are looking to complete the transfer of Manchester City winger, Raheem Sterling, this summer.

Sterling has just a year left on his current deal with the Citizens but he is yet to renew his contract with the club.

Mikel Arteta is said to be keen to make the England international a focal point of his attack at the Emirates.
