Harry Kane is in the mood to break records in the English Premier League this season as the Tottenham striker has been named "Player of the Month" for March in the EPL for the 7th time.

The 28-year-old forward was in superb form for Tottenham as he bagged four goals and created two more as the London club revived their hope of qualifying for the Champions League.

According to a report via the BBC, Kane has now equaled the record of the highest "player of the month" awards won held by former Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero.

The Tottenham striker will now aim to make history by setting the record for the most "player of the month" awards won if he wins another gong.

The Player of the Month award was created in 1994 to honour the individual brilliance of players in the Premier League and was first won by Tottenham striker Jurgen Klinsmann.

Arteta wins Premier League Manager of the Month

Meanwhile, another North Londoner, Mikel Arteta has been named the Premier League's manager of the month for March.
