Asisat Oshoala has won yet another major trophy in Spain as the Super Falcons captain emerged Spanish Primera Femenina Champions with Barcelona.

The Blaugranes clinched their third league title in a row after a 5-0 thrashing of arch-rivals Real Madrid on Sunday, March 13.

According to Goal, Oshoala was not listed for the fixture as she is presently recovering from an injury lay-off.

The Super Falcons striker has scored 19 goals for Barcelona in the 2021-22 season and is the Spanish Primera Division, top scorer.

The 27-year-old could be ready to return to action when Barcelona square up against Real Sociedad in a Copa de la Reina showdown on Wednesday, March 16.

Barcelona dominance continues in Spain

Meanwhile, Barcelona continued its dominance in the Spanish women's league after being crowned Champions for the third straight season.

According to Punch, the Catalans have won all 24 of their games played so far, with an astonishing 136 goals scored and only six conceded.

Barcelona has won two Copa de la Reina diadems, one Supercopa Femenina as well as the Uefa Women's Champions League trophy in the last two seasons.

Nigeria striker scores 19th League goal of the season

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Asisiat Oshoala kept alive her hopes to win the top scorers award in Spain as the Super Falcons striker was on target for Barcelona Femini in their 3-0 win against Athletic Bilbao.

The Super Falcons captain’s goal on Sunday to her tally in the Primera Division Women to 19 as she goes 2-goal clear her teammate Lieke Martens who has 17 goals.

Oshoala’s goal was scored in the 50th minute of the game when a ball found her in the box in the midst of traffic but she found a way to score.
