Nigerian striker Emmanuel Dennis on Friday night, December 10, scored his 7th goal of the season in the Premier League but it was not enough as Watford suffered 1-2 loss at Brentford.
Watford started the Premier League encounter impressively at the Community Stadium and had to wait until the 24th minute before netting their goal through Emmanuel Dennis who benefited from Tom Cleverley's cross.
Did Dennis and his teammates win the match?
The first-half lead put the Hornets on course to end their three-game losing streak until they conceded two late goals.
Pontus Jansson equalised for the Bees in the 84th minute and Bryan Mbeumo scored a 95th-minute winner from the penalty spot.
As things stand, Watford are currently occupying 17th position on the Premier League table with 13 points after 16 games played so far.
There have also been calls for Emmanuel Dennis to be included in the Super Eagles squad that will fly to Cameroon for the 2022 African Cup of Nations.
