Ahmed Musa Discloses Big Revelation About Super Eagles Ahead of Clash With Liberia

Ahmed Musa who is the captain of the Super Eagles of Nigeria has confirmed his readiness and that of his teammates for their World Cup qualifier against Liberia holding in Morocco.

With only goalkeeper John Noble and Odion Ighalo expected in the Super Eagles camp, the other players invited have started training ahead of the big encounter.

While speaking with the NFF TV, Ahmed Musa explained that him and his teammates know the importance of winning their match against Liberia as he promised Nigerians that they will do their best.

Ahmed Musa's comment about tie against Liberia

“As you can see everyone is happy and we are ready for the game. We have 22 players here. Tomorrow we are expecting the goalkeeper (John Noble) and Odion Ighalo.
“We know the importance of the game, we can’t afford to lose. We have to go for the three points. At the end of the game on Saturday we hope to celebrate another important win.”

The former Premier League star also explained that the weather in Morocco is very good and his teammates are happy with it.

''The weather here is very okay for us as it is like that of Europe and all we need to do is to get the three points and make Nigerians happy.''

Osimhen makes big statement about the return of Odion Ighalo to Super Eagles

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Victor Osimhen finally reacted to the return of former Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo to the Super Eagles ahead of Nigeria's World Cup qualifier against Liberia in Morocco.

Before Odion Ighalo was named among the players for the coming qualifiers, the president of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick made it clear that the experience of the former Watford man is still needed in the team.

Taiwo Awoniyi who has been getting the goals for Union Berlin in the German Bundesliga was however snubbed by Gernot Rohr for Odion Ighalo to make his return to the Super Eagles.

Speaking with the NFF TV on the development of Odion Ighalo returning to Super Eagles after two years, Victor Osimhen who has been leading the attack explained that it is a welcome one.
