Nigeria vs Cameroon will compete for a place in the quarter finals as old enemies clash in an AFCON 2019 round of 16 clash.

The Super Eagles qualified as Group B runners-up after losing their last match to eventual group winners Madagascar.

On the other hand, the Indomitable Lions came second behind Ghana in Group E as they were forced to a 0-0 draw the Republic of Benin.

Gernot Rohr's side have only managed to score two goals all through the tournament in their respective 1-0 wins over Burundi and Guinea.

Clarence Seedorf's side also scored two goals during their AFCON opener against Guinea-Bissau but played two goalless draws with the Black Stars and the Squirrels.

Cameroon have not beaten Nigeria in any competition since 2000 AFCON competition where the won the finals on penalty shoot-outs to clinch their fifth title.

And Nigeria has gone on to win four and lost none of the last five contests, including a 5-1 aggregate triumph during the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
