Nigerian footballer Odion Ighalo has taken to social media to post an adorable photo of himself dressing in Muslim regalia on Friday morning, February 26.

Ighalo's latest dressing has thrown many fans and Nigerians into serious confusion on if the football legend has changed his faith to Islam.

In the photo posted by Odion Ighalo, the Nigerian striker can be seen looking awesome and happy in white attire with his head covered like a Muslim who just completed Holy Pilgrimage.

After leaving Manchester United where he spent one year on loan from Shanghai Shenhua, Odion Ighalo did not return to China but signed for Saudi club Al Shabab.

And since the former Watford man got to Saudi Arabia, he has been impressive for his new club who are currently topping the League table with 41 points after 20 games.

There has also been news that Super Eagles gaffer Gernot Rohr should make sure that Odion Ighalo returns to the three-time African champions.

The 31-year-old decided to hang his international boots after the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt where he finished as the highest goalscorer and helped Nigeria to third position.

Odion Ighalo has played 35 games for the Super Eagles of Nigeria and he is having 16 goals.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Nigerian football star Odion Ighalo finally made his debut for his new Saudi Arabian club Al-Shabab as they defeated Al-Raed 4-1 in a League encounter played on Sunday night, February 7.

After spending a year at Manchester United where he played on loan from Chinese Super League side Shenhua Shanghai, Odion Ighalo was released by the Red Devils.

It was clear that the Nigerian striker had no future at Old Trafford following the arrival of Edinson Cavani who has been getting active playing time under Ole Solskjaer.

But the truth is that Odion Ighalo's dream of playing for Manchester United in the Premier League came to reality and he is grateful for that.
