Jose Peseiro, who is the coach of the Super Eagles, has refused to elaborate on the status of his salary from the Nigerian Football Federation since he was appointed almost a year ago.

Due to the inability of Nigeria to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar under Austine Eguavoen, the NFF decided to hire Peseiro to manage the national team.

There have been reports circulating since that the Portuguese coach has not been paid his $70, 000-per-month salary by football body over the last 10 months.

“The situation about my salary is between me and the NFF. I can’t share nothing on it. I can share the information with my wife because she is my wife and there is no problem about that,” he commented.
