Salisu Yusuf Invites 30 Nigerian Players for Under 23 AFCON Qualifier Against Guinea

Salisu Yusuf who is the gaffer of the Nigerian Under 23 team has rolled out the names of the 30 players who will hit the camp for the coming AFCON qualifier against Guinea.

Most of the players invited by the former Kano Pillars coach were picked from the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).

Four goalkeepers, eight defenders, 10 midfielders and eight forwards made the list released by the Nigerian coach.

According to the report on Daily Post, all the players invited have been told to report to camp in Abuja on March 3 where they will be training before moving to Ibadan, Oyo State for the first leg.

Victor Osimhen nurses EPL dream

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen stated emphatically that he is still nursing the dream of playing in the Premier League stressing that many players also want to.

Osimhen's future at Serie A leaders Napoli may be coming to an end this summer as many clubs in England and even Spain are looking for ways to sign the Nigerian striker.

All these clubs have been impressed with Osimhen's brilliant goalscoring form and they are ready to make their bids at the end of the ongoing season.

Chelsea and Manchester United have been identified as the sides who are particularly monitoring the progress of the Super Eagles striker.
