Maduka Okoye, Leon Balogun Named in List of Most Handsome Nigerian Footballers

Ladies blush when they see fine young men, and Nigeria’s Super Eagles comprises some of the most handsome footballers on planet earth.

During the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, goalkeeper Maduka Okoye got the attention of ladies around the continent as they expressed a desire to have him, ‘even for once’.

Here, we have listed some of the stars in no particular order.

Tyronne Ebuehi

The 27-year-old Empoli of Italy defender is one player whose looks have gotten his admirers buzzing. He is light-skinned and slim, with a height of about 1.87m.

Ebuehi was born in The Netherlands to a Nigerian father and a Dutch mother. He made his debut for the Nigerian senior national team in 2017 and has so far earned 9 caps.

Joseph Aribo

The Southampton of England midfielder stands at 6ft. He was born in England to Nigerian parents. The 26-year-old is stylish and complements his look with his dazzling hairstyle.

Aribo broke into the Super Eagles squad under Gernot Rohr in 2019 and has already garnered 20 caps.

Leon Balogun

The Nigerian international was born in Berlin, West Germany, to a Nigerian father and a German mother. The 34-year-old defender looks charming and is on the ‘radar’ of quite a number of ladies.

Balogun, who is brilliant in the Nigerian defence, is undoubtedly one of Nigeria's most handsome footballers. He currently plays for the English club Queens Park Rangers.

The player broke into the Super Eagles squad in 2014 and has since been an important member of the squad. He has made 46 appearances and scored one goal so far.

William Troost-Ekong

Ekong is undoubtedly a ladies' man. The Watford star is currently on loan to Italian outfit Salernitana.

It is so easy to spot him from the crowd as his cuteness makes him stands out. He could easily be referred to as a model.

Maduka Okoye

The Super Eagles goalkeeper made his debut for Nigeria in 2019 during a friendly match against Brazil. He came on for Francis Uzoho in the second half of the encounter which ended 1-1.

During the 2021 AFCON tournament in Cameroon, Okoye's physique sent the social media space agog as lots of ladies want to have a piece of him.

Many have tagged him as the most handsome Super Eagles player.

6 Nigeria-eligible stars for Super Eagles

Meanwhile, Sports Brief earlier reported that quite a number of talented footballers are eligible to play for the Super Eagles, as Jose Peseiro prepares his squad for the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

A number of Nigeria-eligible players born outside the shores of the country could represent the senior national team in the AFCON qualifiers, which return in March.

Past coaches of the west African country's senior team have been able to convince players with dual or even multiple nationalities to play for them.
