“@OnaziOgenyi paid a courtesy visit to our team’s training this Tuesday.
“Onazi, an AFCON winner with the Super Eagles shared moments with the lads before the session. ”

It remains to be seen if the experienced midfielder will pen a contract with the Sky Blue Stars ahead of the new season.

The 2022/23 NPFL season will kick-off on January 8.

Onazi not impressed with current Super Eagles set up

Meanwhile, he is clearly not impressed with the way the Nigerian national team is being run.

The former Lazio of Italy star stated that Nigeria needs to concentrate more on stabilizing the national team following the not-too-impressive results in recent times.

Nigeria failed to go past the second round in the 2021 AFCON tournament and also failed to qualify for the World Cup.

According to Onazi, the Nigerian national team no longer has value as players just stroll in and out of the squad with little or no meaningful contribution.

Remo Stars chairman rewards player with a car

Sports Brief earlier reported that Nduka Junior who is the captain of Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Remo Stars, was recently rewarded with a car gift for his brilliant performances at the club.

The presentation of the Toyota Corolla was done by the owner of the club, Kunle Soname, who urged the 21-year-old to continue to make the team proud.

While giving the player the car key, Soname made it clear that the management of the club are also watching the remaining players stressing that they will reward everyone that are making the Ikenne based side look good.
