Obafemi Martins has graduated from the Harvard University with the ex-Premier League star bagging a degree and a certificate in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Markets.

This is a good development coming from the former Super Eagles striker who is now expected to use the knowledge acquired from the University to become full entrepreneur.

Where is Harvard?

Harvard University is a private Ivy League research university in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Founded in 1636 as Harvard College and named for its first benefactor, the Puritan clergyman John Harvard.

The citadel of learning is known as one of the best Universities in the world, and kudos must be given to Martins to have graduated there in flying colours.

Martins is considered to be one of the most successful Nigerian players, having won titles in Italy, England and Russia while playing for Inter Milan, Newcastle United, Portsmouth and Rubin Kazan.

Between 2004 to 2015, Martins played 42 games for the Super Eagles netting 18 goals before he retired from international football.

The former Super Eagles striker is one of the richest African players, considering what the 37-year-old has earned especially during his time playing in Europe.

During his time with the Super Eagles, Martins was rated as a 'goal king' because he scored many times for the Nigerian national team.

The former Inter Milan striker posted on Instagram, Martins and his wife were seen in good mood while cruising around the town atop the motorcycle.
