Peter Rufai in Super Eagles

Popularly known as 'Dodo Mayana', the former Deportivo La Coruna stopper played 65 games for the Super Eagles and was able to score one goal.

Rufai represented Nigeria in two World Cups and many Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.

Joseph Dosu in Super Eagles

Dosu helped Julius Berger win the Nigerian FA Cup in November 1996, by keeping a clean sheet in the finals against Katsina United.

His career came to an abrupt end after a serious car accident in Lagos in 1997, which almost left him paralysed.

He was only able to play three games for the Super Eagles.

Joseph Dosu missing on list

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how former Nigerian international Vincent Enyeama emerged No.1 in the top ten goalkeepers who ever featured for the Super Eagles.

The ex-Enyimba of Aba shot-stopper amassed 101 appearances for Nigeria between 2002 and 2015, winning the Africa Cup of Nations in 2013.

During his stint at French club Lille, Enyeama set a record as the most outstanding goalkeeper in their history, having made 164 appearances in all competitions.

He kept a staggering club record of 11 consecutive clean sheets for the side, which earned him the 2014 Prix Marc-Vivien Foé, an award given to the best African player in Ligue 1.
