Lennon's statement on Uzoho's age

"We are just trying to make him grounded and I know he is only 23, even though he looks older than me, but I want him to be more patient because of the form of Fabiano. I am so happy for Uzoho because he is a very talented goalkeeper."

Fabiano de Freitas is the first choice goalkeeper at Omonia. He was injured however, giving Uzoho the chance to achieve a childhood dream of playing against Manchester United.

Nigerian coach tells Man Utd to sign Uzoho

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigerian coach Folabi Ojekunle encouraged those in charge of Premier League side Manchester United to sign Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho.

This comes after Uzoho produced a fantastic performance for his club Omonia on Thursday night, 13 October, in the Europa League against the Red Devils.

In the tie against the Old Trafford landlords, Uzoho made 12 saves, denying the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford. He only conceded in extra time to see Man United win.

Ojekunle, a London-trained coach, explained that Uzoho has shown the world his ability and he wants the goalkeeper to move to Man United.
