Super Eagles star scores stunning Champions League goal in win over tough opponents

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Super Eagles star Zaidu Sanusi was in great form on Tuesday night, 4 October, scoring a stunning header in FC Porto's Champions League 2-0 win over visiting Leverkusen.

Although the Nigerian and his teammates won the encounter, but it was not an easy ride for Sanusi and his teammates who had to wait until the second half before scoring.

Playing in front of their fans, FC Porto started the match impressively firing in all cylinders trying to get the opener against their opponents, but despite their efforts, they could not.

Porto boss Conceicao opted to introduce Sanusi into the game in the 63rd minute and that was the decision that turned the game on its head.

Within six minutes of his introduction into the game, Zanusi put Porto in front with a sublime finish that left Leverkusen goalkeeper Hradecky helpless.

And four minutes to the end of the match, Galeno scored the winner for FC Porto giving the Portuguese side their three points.
