Cristiano Giuntoli, who is Napoli's director has stated clearly that Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is having issues with his abductor ahead of the club's clash with Liverpool.

Napoli will on Wednesday evening, 7 September, start their campaign in this term's Champions League with a battle against Premier League giants Liverpool in a battle that is expected to be a challenging one.

Victor Osimhen got injured during Napoli's last game against Lazio in the Serie A and there have been doubts over his availability for the clash against Liverpool.

According to the report on Nation, Cristiano Giuntoli explained that Napoli medical team are currently sweating over the fitness of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

It is a common cause of groin injury and pain among athletes and the risk factors include previous hip or groin injury, age, weak abductors, muscle fatigue, and decreased range of motion.
