Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun has completed a move to English club Queens Park Rangers after leaving Scottish giants Rangers where he featured in 40 games.

Having previously played for Brighton and Wigan, Leon Balogun is not a stranger in the English football and the Nigerian will want to make an impact at his new side.

The towering defender has however linked up with head coach Mick Beale, whom he worked with at Ibrox, after penning a one-year contract at Queens Park Rangers.

According to the report on GOAL, Leon Balogun expressed happiness with his move to Queens Park Rangers claiming that he is ready to help the side.

Leon Balogun's reaction about joining QPR

“It is a big relief to know I can get back to action and I am looking forward to it.
“We have been speaking for some weeks so I am happy we got it done.
“The manager is one of the main factors for me. When he left Rangers I messaged him and said in terms of a football brain he is one of the best I have worked with.
“He is obsessed with football and what I always admire about him is the way he treated the players, and the way he got ideas into your mind.''
