Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye finally made his debut for Watford on Tuesday night, 23 August, but it ended on a disappointing note as they suffered a defeat against MK Dons.

The encounter was in the Carabao Cup Round of 32 and Maduka Okoye and his teammates at Watford were beaten 2-0 and crashed out of the competition.

Maduka Okoye moved to Watford from Dutch outfit Sparta Rotterdam at the start of the campaign with the hope of him helping the club this season in the Championship.

Former Super Eagles Captain and Coach Sunday Oliseh Resigns From German Club After Two Months

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how former Nigerian international Sunday Oliseh called German Regionalliga club SV Straelen to inform them of his resignation as the side's coach.

The former Super Eagles coach was in charge of the German Regionalliga team, SV Straelen, for barely two months before announcing his departure.

It was gathered that Fortuna Düsseldorf II defeated Straelen 2-0, with Oliseh utterly upset by his players’ performance during the encounter.

Oliseh resigned after the team scored just one goal in five league games as they conceded seven times.

Straelen’s sporting director, Kevin Wolze, who has taken over the team's coaching duties, made the announcement to the players during Sunday’s training session.
