Nigerian international Oghenekaro Etebo could be moving to the Spanish La Liga as he appears on the radar of Getafe and Real Valladolid.

Etebo could be returning to the Spanish League as two clubs are jostling for the signature of the Nigerian international.

The 26-year-old currently plays for the English Championship side Stoke City, and there is just one year left on his current contract with the Potters.

Pulse Sports reports that Stoke City are planning to cash in on him instead of losing him for free in the coming season.

Spanish outlet Pucelafichajes reports via Sport, that Getafe and Valladolid are ready to battle for the signature of the Stoke midfielder.

The report claims:

"Getafe is interested in getting this player. He has one year left on his contract and the operation could be closed in the coming days.
“For now, they have found another bid from Valladolid, although there are other La Liga teams that have also shown interest."

Etebo, who spent last season on loan at Watford, also played on loan at UD Las Palmas in 2018.

Aribo nets first Premier League goal

Meanwhile, Nigerian international Joe Aribo impressed in Southampton’s 2-2 draw with Leeds United in the English Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Super Eagles midfielder came on in the 61st minute of the encounter and was already on the score sheet in the 72nd minute.

The 26-year-old was at the end of Adam Armstrong’s low ball at the back post to get Southampton back into the game after a brace from Rodrigo had put Leeds two goals ahead.

Moses Simon agrees deal to join Nottingham Forest

Sports Brief earlier reported that Nigerian international Moses Simon has reportedly agreed to personal terms with newly-promoted English Premier League club Nottingham Forest.

It was gathered that the swift winger is looking to play in the English top-flight, where he will join international teammate Taiwo Awoniyi.

The 27-year-old has also been linked with other English teams, including Brighton & Hove Albion and Leeds United.
