The mother of Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo was spotted laughing her hearts out as her footballer son cracked up while they chatted at the dining table.

Ighalo has vividly made his mother part of his life as she is always around him, even when he travels to his base or while he is on holiday.

After helping Al-Hilal clinch the Saudi Pro League title last season, Ighalo returned to his mansion in Lagos for a deserved rest.

The former Manchester United striker had shared on social media how his mother helped him with the construction of the edifice in Lagos.

The pair were seen at the dining as the footballer ate a well-prepared meal while having a chit-chat with his beloved mum.

In the footage shared by the former Watford man on his Instagram status on Wednesday, July 20, Ighalo’s mother was spotted laughing aloud as they talked about Cristiano Ronaldo’s current status.

Ronaldo’s future remains in doubt as the Manchester United striker failed to link up with his teammates, who are already engaged in preseason activities.

Meanwhile, Ighalo has headed for his base as Al-Hilal are set for preseason activities ahead of the Saudi Pro League 2022-23 season which starts on August 25.

Ighalo named in Saudi Team of the Season

Meanwhile, Ighalo has been recognised following his impressive performance in the Saudi Professional Football League last season.

The 33-year-old scored 24 goals last season to emerge the highest scorer as he also inspired Al Hilal to win the league title.

His teammate, Salem Al Dawsari was also included in the Team of the Season. Egypt and former West Bromwich Albion defender Ahmed Hegazi were also included in the squad.
