Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has lambasted Nigerian politicians for being insensitive towards education amid the continued strike of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

This is coming hours after pictures flooded the internet as Jordan Nyesom-Wike, son of the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike graduated from the University of Exeter, in the United Kingdom.

Those at Jordan’s graduation event captured in the photo include Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, Wike’s wife, Justice Eberechi Nyesom-Wike and his daughter, Jasmine Nyesom-Wike.

The unions embarked on industrial actions while demanding improved welfare packages, better working conditions, and the implementation of various labour agreements signed with the Federal Government between 2009 and 2020, Punch reports.

The development has forced Ahmed Musa to blast Nigerian politicians in his latest post, as he also blamed the youths for always singing their praises as well.

“To our politicians whose children school abroad, how do you feel visiting your children abroad taking pictures in their schools and posting online while ASUU is on strike?
“Like seriously, how is it okay to you. You’re running a system you don’t even believe in. Show me one Oyinbo child whose child is schooling in Nigeria.
“E no dey touch una? And when you return, Nigerian youths will still gather to sing praises for una.”

Musa supports 5000 people with N20,000 each in Jos

Sports Brief earlier reported that Musa continues to support members of his community as the Fatih Karagumruk forward donated N20,000 each to about five thousand people in Jos.

Artisans including tailors, bean sellers, shoemakers and a host of other small business owners were supported with such amount by the Nigerian international.

Musa who is famous for helping the poor and sick, made this latest gesture when he personally handed the cash gift to the individuals.
