Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has posted awesome photo of he and his lovely wife in the hospital as they welcomed a new born baby with the player giving thanks to God.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper who currently plays for Cyprus first division club Omonia is grateful to God for the new gift while posing with his wife beside the hospital bed.

This latest development is coming days after Francis Uzoho helped the Super Eagles to beat Sierra Leone and Sao Tome in the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Francis Uzoho was in action in the two games for the Super Eagles and he is expected to return for Nigeria when the AFCON qualifiers resume in September.

How many games has Francis Uzoho played for Super Eagles?

Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has been in the Super Eagles since 2017 and the 23-year-old has featured in 18 games.

He was with the Super Eagles at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia where Nigeria failed make it pass the group stages.

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigerian international Odion Ighalo found the back of the net twice helping Al Hilal to a 2-1 win over Al Faisaly as they claim the Saudi Professional League title in style.

Ighalo scored in each half of the encounter to light up the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium on Monday night, 27 June.

Al Hilal who needed a win to beat their closest challengers Al Ittihad to the domestic title approached the game with utmost caution following three straight wins before their final game of the season.

Former Manchester United striker Ighalo opened the scoring as early as the 7th minute after he tucked home Michael’s pass to beat goalkeeper Mustafa Malayekah.
