Former Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has slammed the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) chiefs over how he was sacked one month to the start of the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.

The German manager qualified the Super Eagles for the 2021 African Cup of Nations, but he was later dismissed with the NFF chiefs claiming that he lost the control of the dressing room.

Austin Eguavoen was then appointed as interim coach of the Super Eagles for the 2021 African Cup of Nations, but the Nigerian team crashed out in the round of 16 losing to Tunisia.

NFF still gave Eguavoen the chance to be in charge of the 2022 World Cup play-offs, but the lost the ticket to the Black Stars of Ghana.

According to the report on Pulse, Gernot Rohr explained that the Nigerian Football Federation eggheads were not professional enough on how they fired him.

Ever since the 68-year-old was sacked as the Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has not gotten another job even though he was linked with Ghana national team.
